I need to make it known that I am no longer the person to come to in regards to the HouseCamZ product, part of the CamZ.com network. Although there is a lot that I cannot go into, I will try to give you the best overview of how I have ended up making this decision and being in this position.

Several years ago while Robb was building up the CamZ.com network I came to him about creating the House version. We then worked together, built the product, got things running smoothly and out there being used. Robb and I worked closely together for a long time improving and supporting the product (as well as working together on many other things). Then as most of you know around May of this year, Robb sold out his interests in CamZ to Dan Hogue. This now left me being partners with Dan solely. I was a little worried at this point since all the years I had been with CamZ, Dan had never been involved or showed any interest in working on these projects. Apart from conventions we had worked very little together.

It is important to understand that we all lived in the same area, we were all very close friends at the time. I was (and am) friends with all the staff (since I had also worked closely with most of them). This was another very worrying point, many of the staff had let me know that they would not be willing to work under Dans control and in fact did leave the company when Dan took over. I did not know the details at the time, but with 6 of the key people (out of 7 total) not being around anymore (many had been with the company for 5+ years), it was clearly something to worry about as far as the future of my venture now beinging sole partners with Dan.

Around early June things started to go wrong (as feared), communication was sparse, there was no ideas or plans being made to enhance the product, monies owed to me were not being paid (and still have not). Finally Dan tried to change the original deal that was in place for the previous several years and claimed that some mysterious expenses should be taken out of my end of the revenue all of a sudden. To start inventing expenses (as well as several other factors) showed me that I just really needed to get out of this bad situation. So at this point, hoping to salvage any possible relationship with Dan, I decided I wanted out of the partnership (as any partner is legally allowed to do at any time). Of course this would mean the venture would need to be dissolved or one partner buys the other out. I explained the reasons I wanted out of the partnership, and offered options for either winding up the venture or for one of us to leave.

I email Dan and get a response on June 4th which is simply that he is too busy to deal with it and we should talk at a "later date" after I have thought about it more.

June 5th – I wrote back explaining that I had made up my mind and I did not need to think about it, we simply needed to act one way or another.

No response from Dan.

June 9th – I wrote again, stating that I need a response on this and how we should proceed with either a wind up or he should buy me out.

No response from Dan.

June 27th – I write again explaining it has been 18 days, more than enough time for a response or to talk with lawyers.

No response from Dan.

July 10th – Thinking perhaps he may respond to my lawyer, a letter is sent and delivered July 12th.

No response from Dan.

July 25th – My owner access to HouseCamZ is removed, this is a product that I built from the ground up with very little help from Dan, paid for, promoted, grew, supported and basically ran for 3 years. Not to mention being a 50% owner. I email Dan.

No response from Dan.

July 30th – I get an email from Mark (presumably to give Dan some plausible deniability) saying that I had violated the terms and conditions of the hosting agreement and I had until August 13 th to remove all my websites from the CamZ servers, and hosting was canceled.

Still nothing from Dan.

With several websites and a couple of large sites, it was clearly going to take a while to move everything, less than a week later (way before the August 13th deadline) access to my server is disabled. Important to mention I personally own my equipment at CamZ, although nothing was mentioned by Mark on this (and still has not been).

No response from Dan.

August 5th – I email Dan to ask why access to server is disabled.

Finally on August 8th Dan decides to reply (after 2 months). He "thinks" he knows the reason why access was disabled but would need to forward it to Mark to handle. He also goes on to say that, as he explained before he does not have time to talk about our issues, but he may be able to talk about it some time in the future, however since I had my lawyer send a letter to him, he would probably be advised not to by his lawyer.

No response was received from Mark after Dan claimed he forwarded the access issue on to him.

No further response has been received by Dan either.

My personal server access was never restored and of course this action Dan took cost me and my other business money. I am not sure what route I will be going about those losses at the moment.

As of writing this letter August 17th, I have now been notified by our Sammy4u members that our Housecamz Content access has also been disabled.

My lawyer has left several phone messages for Dan's with no response as yet also.

So that is the basic history.

As explained earlier, I am typically a private person when it comes to business and feel I took many steps to try to get these problems solved. It seems Dan wanted to go another unnecessary route. So why am I posting this now and making things public?

1) I want it to be public knowledge that since Dan has shut me out of the admin area of a business I am an owner in, I am unable to help any members, webmasters or performers using the HouseCamZ system. All I can suggest for now is to email Dan if anyone is having problems with anything.

2) I want it publicly known that I wish to disassociate and dissolve our partnership in the product known as HouseCamZ between myself and Dan Hogue, Zmac1 Incorporated ( Florida corporation) or any other entity Dan is now using to run CamZ.com under. As stated to Dan privately months ago.

3) I feel that for 2 months I have tried hard and patiently to solve this issue, yet Dan has refused to respond to the problem or even address it. Therefore the only option left is to seek legal action and force a wind up and closure of the venture. I feel it is only fair to everyone using the HouseCamZ system to be advised of this since it may affect service for them.

4) I am making this post in the hopes that Dan will now respond to me and we can get this resolved. I see this as one final chance for us to end this before being forced to go to the courts. It is simply a matter of dropping me an email and saying, ok, let’s work this out (and of course following through). Although history would suggest that he will hide behind his lawyer and claim he cannot talk about it or do anything to resolve this situation.

Please remember that this used to be a very good friend, with his house around the corner from mine we shared many years of good times. This is perhaps why it is even harder to swallow. It is not the thousands of dollars I am still owed. It is not the fact that I put years into building a successful product that he now acts as if I have zero ownership in. It is not the fact that he shut my dedicated equipment and personal hosting down. It is simply the fact that he refuses to stand up, be a man, and work these issues out. He seems to feel by ignoring it maybe it will just "go away".

Perhaps the problem is that I am good friends with Robb and I know this upsets Dan, however when litigation first started between Robb and Dan (8+ months ago) I made it clear I hoped we could stay friends (Dan, knows exactly the day when this changed). I know Dan has his supporters and it may be hard for some people to believe since Dan is always the "nice guy" at the conventions, in emails, phone etc. I probably never would have believed this could happen either.
